Why Bother With Televisions…

…When all the channels are moving to the internet?

I just read on the BBC website that Channel 4 will be streaming versions of the programmes showing at that time as of June 27th.   

Is it just me, or is everything being broadcast on the internet now?  This isn't a bad thing obviously, because it's in ADDITION to the TV, but if internet television starts replacing TV sets like DVD replaced VHS… I won't be a happy bunny.

Call me old fashioned, but I personally love curling up on the sofa and watching a good programme on the TV.  I love computers, but I couldn't replace television sets with them.  I look at TV as a relaxing way of getting away from the PC.  This also relates to watching TV on Windows MCE.  I don't know what it is, I just don't like the idea of watching TV on a computer.
